By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. Since this is simply a website usage agreement, this will be a lot less formal and more to the point.
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law.
No spamming (mentioning your website is fine), However hawking of commercial products or posting advertisements that are irrelevant is strictly forbidden as is posting of any explicit pornographic material.
Treat all human beings as your equals, regardless of if they are or not; do not condescend or intentionally say something to anger or offend someone. You are welcome to have an opinion, and even hold an unpopular viewpoint (whatever the subject may be), but please try to remember that there are different ways of saying the same thing.
Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify a moderator/admin immediately - either by PM or the reporting system. We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
This is a manual process, however, so please realise that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.
This policy extends to member profile information as well.
Personal Fueds/flame wars.
Sometimes a forum debate will turn into a personal feud between two (or more) posters. We want to make it perfectly clear that:
1) We will not allow, under any circumstances, this feud to be carried out publicly. The topic(s) will simply be deleted.
2) We will not intervene nor be a judge to personal feuds.
3) We will not offer any of the facilities this website has to offer - primarily the Private Messaging system - to serve this feud. We ask that you take the means of communication offline i.e. emails.
We DO NOT condone any abusive racism.
All Members are expected to fill out the Application FULLY and HONESTLY.
